SHC Voter Promo Month: Get Educated and Get Registered

Louisville, KY – August 2, 2019 – Signature HealthCARE understands the significance of expressing your freedom of speech and making your voice heard. To promote this importance, residents and stakeholders across the revolution celebrated Signature HealthCARE Voter Promo Month throughout July.

“The importance of exercising our ‘right’ to vote as Americans is sacred and we must stay engaged and be part of the political process,” Kathy Gallin, VP of Legislative Affairs and Health Policy, said. “What your elected officials do affects you, affects our residents, affects our families, and affects the communities that we serve.”

Social media allows us to have so much information at our fingertips and has changed the way we interact, Gallin said. She encourages you to get involved in local politics so you can help influence government policy and effect change. Educate yourself on your local officials and their policies so you can help in making a positive impact by supporting those who support you.

Many Signature facilities listened to Gallin’s advice and invited local political leaders into their homes to discuss the importance of being an educated and informed voter, while also assisting in voter registration for individuals.

If this doesn’t encourage you to get registered to vote, just remember it only takes one voice to make a difference. Gallin recalled a story of Lucy Kennedy from Signature HealthCARE of North Florida to show you just how much of an impact you can have by simply speaking with your officials and discussing what’s important to you and your community.

So, get out there, get educated, and get registered…happy voting! 🇺🇸
