Senior Independence Month Honored With Spring Opening Of Princeton Transitional Care

FEBRUARY 21, 2019

Louisville, KY. – February 21, 2019 – The month of February marks National Senior Independence Month. It’s a time to reflect on current lifestyle situations for seniors and ways to improve their daily life, while still remaining in control.

One of the improvements that could be made during this time is the move to an Assisted Living facility, which allows individuals to live independently, but also have the services and care they need at hand.  In spring 2019, Signature HealthCARE and Ballad Health will bring a new level of health care services to Johnson City, TN, known as Princeton Transitional Care & Assisted Living.

The state-of-the-art community will add 60 assisted living apartments to the Tri-Cities area. The 73,000 square-foot facility offers various amenities from salon and spa services to a library and media center. Assisted living apartment suites come in different sizes and have private bathrooms, kitchenettes, and much more, all to help promote independence for the residents. Apartments can even be decorated to the individuals liking, so when family and friends come for a visit it looks and feels just like home.

“We will have licensed nurses and assistants available, but we encourage our residents to do as much for themselves as possible with our staff simply overseeing.  If able, our residents can continue to manage their own medications, they can still drive and come and go as they please to remain active in the community,” Stephenie Heaton, Director of Marketing at Princeton Transitional Care, said.

Aside from a life of independence, Princeton also offers the opportunity for improved socialization. Weekly outings and community events will take place to allow residents to stay active and spend time with others their own age with similar likes and interests.

Living at Princeton Transitional Care & Assisted Living is a new opportunity, a chance for a new start, and an opportunity to live.
