New Electronic Health Record Platform Officially Live In Six Signature HealthCARE Buildings

MARCH 1, 2019

Louisville, KY – March 1, 2019 – Signature HealthCARE is working to advance technology throughout the company to improve the provision of care and overall resident and stakeholder satisfaction. A recent advancement for Signature is the transition to a new electronic health record platform, MatrixCare.

MatrixCare uses evidence-based practices to help achieve better clinical outcomes while reducing readmissions (MatrixCare). By making the switch to MatrixCare, Signature can improve functionality, display and real-time processing to increase process efficiency and transform business operations. The platform also provides great insight and analytics to assist in better meeting the needs of our residents. Through the utilization of this technology, the stakeholder and resident experience will ultimately improve.

“MatrixCare’s MyAnalytics platform is the ideal solution for where we are heading, with real-time insights to inform decision making and complete mobile access in the delivery of managed care,” Signature HealthCARE’s Chief Information Officer, Christopher Houser, said in an interview with MatrixCare.

All 115 Signature locations will transition to MatrixCare by the end of September. The first two roll-outs took place on Jan. 31 at Hermitage Care and Rehabilitation Center and Signature HealthCARE at Hillcrest. With a successful launch, the platform has already made day-to-day tasks easier and has benefited stakeholders and residents in all aspects of care.

“The technology in general is going to be helpful across the whole business. From the clinical side, my team is excited about it. It’s going to be a lot easier for them. Having one platform to work out of is going to be really helpful on the admissions side as well,” Bill Conley, Administrator at Signature HealthCARE at Hillcrest, said. “We’re excited about what the future can bring with the application.”

Three more buildings went live with MatrixCare yesterday, Feb. 28: Heritage Park Care and Rehabilitation Center, Signature HealthCARE of Memphis and Signature HealthCARE of Elizabethton Rehab and Wellness Center.
