Signature HealthCARE honors our medical heroes today, on National Doctors’ Day. Dr. Arif Nazir, Chief Medical Officer and President of Signature HealthCARE Medical Partners, shares these thoughts of the bravery and compassion of our HealthCARE heroes:

In a recent article in Politico, the author makes a case that the COVID-19 pandemic will result in a “new kind of patriotism” as healthcare workers emerge as the new heroes in this war against a virus, where military arms have no role to play. A quote from the article states, “When all is said and done, perhaps we will recognize their sacrifice as true patriotism, saluting our doctors and nurses, genuflecting and saying, ‘Thank you for your service,’ as we now do for military veterans.”

On this National Doctor’s Day, Signature HealthCARE is thankful for the services and sacrifices of doctors in these, our United States, and all over the world and all other front line healthcare heroes including nurses and others, fighting the COVID-19 war.
